The DWA-H Work Alerter is a simple, single circuit, self-contained program timer which is programmable to set and change signal schedules on an internal keypad. However, the DWA-H does not automatically change for Daylight Saving Time.

Setting the time on the DWA-H Digital Work Alerter is essential for unit to sound off at the scheduled event times. It is recommended to install a 9-volt battery to retain the time, day and scheduled events in the event of a power outage. Without a battery, the unit will be reset due to the loss of power.

To set the time on the DWA-H:

  1. Unlock the top case from the clock.
  2. Remove the top case from the clock.
  3. Press SET TIME.
  4. Press FWD to move the time shown forward.
    Press REV to move the time shown backward.
    The time shown will advance the minutes first then the hour.
  5. When the desired time is displayed, press RUN.
  6. Replace the top case on the clock.
  7. Lock the top case in place to secure the keypad again.

After the time is set, the scheduled events will sound at the proper time.
